Come along for the ride!

Subscribe to our newsletter if you want to know about Living Our Aloha's latest adventures. Here, we'll share more in depth info with only our email subscribers. Plus, we like to do cool things like art and other giveaways.

Here we go!

“The problem is…you think you have time.”

Hi, we’re the Lewmans – Amanda, Chris, Rosie, Emerson, and the newest member of our family, Dolly (our Airstream). We recently decided that the 2400 square feet we are living in is no longer what we want. We’re in the process of selling ALL of our stuff to go tiny — REALLY tiny — 165 square feet to be exact.

Don’t get us wrong, we love our house. We carefully hand-picked every single thing inside every nook and cranny of our renovated 1910 bungalow. To paint a more accurate picture, we’re downsizing from:

  • 2 living rooms
  • 1 dining room
  • 1 kitchen
  • 2 full baths
  • 2 offices
  • 1 Master
  • 1 guest room and
  • 1 workout room

We’ll be working remotely, traveling for the next 12 months (minimum) and (over)sharing our adventure here. We hope you’ll come along for the ride!

ANY ADVICE FOR US?

As the youngest of six siblings, I learned patience at an early age. I’m lucky to have a ridiculously supportive family, a loving wife, and 2 dogs who we honestly believe are going to wake up one day and start talking to us. Tiny living appeals to me because it forces you to live more intentionally. Fifty years from now, I don’t think we’ll regret one minute of this road trip we are living.
